Meet the Teacher!
My name is Jane Taylor. I teach English Language Learners (ELL) at Thurston School. My education includes bachelor’s degrees in biology and art and master’s degrees in environmental education and TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Before teaching in Ann Arbor, I worked in a science museum and I was a bilingual elementary teacher in two international schools in Colombia, South America.
I have two daughters who attended the Ann Arbor Public Schools. One daughter was an ELL student too! Some of my interests are music, reading, nature, travel, language and culture.
I look forward to helping elementary students learn all about the English language!
